The Cherrybrook Public School difference
A strong start
Our school welcomes all students from all backgrounds. We help every child feel safe, included and ready to learn from their very first day.
Growth in the classroom and beyond
We offer our students a wide range of subjects and opportunities. This empowers them to learn, develop skills, and discover their passions.
Support for every family
Our teachers and learning and wellbeing support teams work with our families. We co-design plans that help students learn in the way that works best for them.
Canteen Volunteer of the Year 2026
We are proud to recognise and celebrate one of the very special volunteers who generously gives her time to support the Cherrybrook Public School Canteen.
City of Sydney Eisteddfod
Our Concert, Training Bands and Intermediate Band students performed in the City of Sydney Eisteddfod. This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to participate in their first eisteddfod of the year. Our Concert Band achieved third place, the Training Band secured first place, and our Intermediate Band was highly commended.
Affirmation Steps
We are proud to unveil our new affirmation steps, gifted to the school by our 2025 Year 6 students as their legacy project.
Funded through the annual Pedlars’ Parade, this lasting gift is a wonderful reminder of the positive impact our Year 6 students leave on our school community.
Outdoor Movie Night on the Oval
We are pleased to announce that our outdoor Movie Night has now been rescheduled for Saturday, 1 August 2026.
Thank you to our school community for your understanding and continued support following the postponement due to weather concerns.
We would like to thank our P&C, volunteers, sponsors and vendors for their ongoing support and assistance in organising this event.
We look forward to welcoming everyone for a fantastic evening of fun, food and entertainment on the new date.
